The UK government is accepting applications for its “Young Professionals Visa Program.” Know how to enter the ballot
The British government has invited applications for the “Young Professionals” visa scheme. Eligible applicants will have to enter a ballot between February 28 and March 2 to be considered for the same.
Indian citizens between the ages of 18 and 20 who have graduate or postgraduate degrees are eligible for the Young Professionals Scheme. It is important to remember that the voting period for this specific immigration program has not yet begun.
“The ballot will choose participants at random, and if you are chosen, you will be invited to submit your visa application.” This time, those who weren’t invited won’t be able to apply, the British High Commission in India tweeted.
Officials previously stated that the program would provide 3,000 spots per year for qualified Indians to live and work in the United Kingdom for up to two years.
During the G20 Summit in Bali in November last year, the deal was approved by the British PM Rishi Sunak and the Indian PM Narendra Modi. The British High Commissioner had stated that this was the first time the UK had done this with a nation like India that did not require visas at the time.
