UK Visas & Immigration (UKVI) has made changes to the Biometric Residence Permit (BRP) process for people applying for certain visas that last longer than 6 months. These changes are part of an on-going effort to improve the customer journey.
Biometric Residence Permit (BRP) letters are now sent out by email as of October 10, 2022. The Visa Application Centre will no longer give out paper letters (VAC). So, customers are reminded to use their own, up-to-date email address or one that is easy to get to when they fill out their visa application. You might need to look in your spam or junk folder to find this email. However, the customers will still have to collect their BRP cards when they get to the UK.
