UK’s Innovator Founder Visa Program Now Open for Applications
The UK government has launched a new visa program, called the Innovator Founder Visa, to attract innovative entrepreneurs to start their businesses in the UK. The program is open to individuals with innovative business ideas and experience in their respective fields.
The Innovator Founder Visa program has replaced the previous Tier 1 Entrepreneur Visa program and is designed to encourage the growth of innovative businesses in the UK. To qualify for the program, applicants must have a new, innovative, and scalable business idea and at least £50,000 in investment funds from an approved source.
One of the key requirements for the program is that applicants must pass an endorsement process by an approved endorsing body. These endorsing bodies will assess the viability of the business idea and the potential for growth in the UK market.
The successful applicants will be granted a 3-year visa, with the option to extend for another 3 years. After 5 years in the UK, they may be eligible to apply for indefinite leave to remain (ILR) and eventually for British citizenship.
